Its unique location affords easy access to the Kings Park, Lake Jualbup and Rosalie Park.

The community displays a high level of educational awareness and the school enjoys strong parental support in terms of involvement and material resources. The school has attracted an experienced, caring and innovative staff. Enrolments are consistently around 320 students and standardized testing indicates that most of our students display above average academic achievement.

Current facilities include thirteen teaching classrooms with high ceilings, a music room adjacent to the undercover assembly area; an art room complete with kiln, a modern administration block and a spacious automated library with an adjoining internet-linked computer laboratory. The classrooms are also networked and linked to the Internet through a central server. Wide verandahs provide shelter for students moving around the school.
The grounds have both shaded passive-play and sporting areas and there is an extensive adventure playground area complete with sun protection.
Rosalie School has a proud academic tradition of providing quality educational learning opportunities across all the learning areas. Student at Educational Risk programs cater for the extension and remediation needs of individual students. The school has a strong musical tradition with programs augmented by senior class musicals, senior choir, bells, recorder ensemble and an instrumental instruction program in brass and clarinet.

The school has operated its own radio station, 7RBS, since 1988 with teams of Year 7 students presenting a fortnightly broadcast to all rooms. There is participation in a wide range of district and community activities including local council initiatives as well as inter-school swimming, athletics, cross-country and team sports. A range of environmental projects has been developed including rural tree planting, a vegetable garden, a chicken run and paper recycling.
