Enrolments
Years 1 – 7
Rosalie Primary School is designated as a Local Intake School. The school has places for students in Years 1-7 who reside within the boundaries of the Local Intake Area (Refer www.det.wa.edu.au select schools online then Rosalie Primary School) as have been determined by the Department of Education and Training.
Parents of children not residing within the Local Intake Area are invited to complete an Application for Enrolment for consideration by the Principal. Eligibility for entry will be dependent upon positions available within the school.
Kindergarten and Pre-Primary
Applications for Enrolment, following notice from the Department, usually occur in May, June and July of the year prior to the children commencing the program.
Children applying for Enrolment in the Kindergarten and Pre Primary programs must turn four or five respectively by the 30 June, of the year they will be commencing the program. Children enrolled in Four year Old Kindergarten and or Pre Primary are allocated positions based on a cluster model, using selection criteria as outlined in the Education Act
Enrolment Requirements
Upon acceptance of application, a formal enrolment is completed, at which time parents are required to present the child’s Birth Certificate or Passport, Immunisation Records and Proof of Address.
Students who were born overseas, must hold an appropriate visa before applying at the school along with Passport and evidence of Date of Entry into Australia.
