Rosalie Primary School is often referred to as a country school in the city because of its community atmosphere and beautiful surrounds. At Rosalie we have a proud academic tradition and strive to maximise every learning opportunity to shape our students’ future through high quality, values enriched teaching and learning.
The whole school community works together to ensure every child has a positive, happy and rewarding school experience. As part of this investment in our children’s education, we are seeking to supplement the school’s funds through establishing a Building Fund for Rosalie Primary School.
The Fund has been established by the Rosalie Primary Parents and Citizens Association (P&C) and is registered with the Australian Taxation Office as a Deductible Gift Recipient. All donations over $2.00 are tax deductible. Donations to the Building Fund can be made at any time and assist the school to upgrade and maintain its facilities. Current and future students will enjoy the benefits of the Building Fund with new projects being undertaken when sufficient funds become available.
Our priorities include:
- Upgrade and expansion of covered assembly area incorporating Performing Arts facilities (i.e. sound and lighting improvements);
- Science facilities;
- Redesign of Art Room kitchen facilities; and
- Ongoing maintenance of buildings and improvements to fixtures and fittings (such as carpets, painting and noticeboards).
Traditional P&C fundraising will also continue to support classroom activities, special school activities (e.g. Writers Festival, Artist-in-Residence, School Community Band), and education support (e.g. early intervention speech assessment).
We invite you to provide a donation to the Building Fund to invest in our children’s future and continue the proud traditions of community involvement in Rosalie Primary School. Any size donation will be greatly appreciated. Donations may be acknowledged in the school newsletter, unless the donor wishes to remain anonymous.
The Fund will be managed by a four-person committee established under the auspices of the School Board and comprising of the School Principal, President of the P&C, P&C Treasurer, as well as a representative elected by the parents. Please help us make a difference to our present and future students and continue the proud tradition of “shaping futures” through Rosalie Primary School.
