Rosalie Contributes to the Solomon Islands

The Rosalie Community once again proved their support by raising  $1000 towards the installation of solar panels at Sali School, a small, remote jungle school in the Solomon Islands. These panels will provide power for ten notebook computers which were donated by Rosalie Primary school and delivered by Su Goddard, Principal, while visiting the Solomon Islands as part of Operation Boss Lift, organised through Australia’s Defence Forces. This follows an earlier visit to the Solomon Islands in 2008 when Sports equipment was provided. The story was broadcast on National and International News programs.
